The individual therapy plan
During your initial consultation with us, we will draw up an individual treatment plan for you based on your symptoms and/or wishes. In almost 90% of our lipoedema patients, we carry out a holistic treatment, which we often recommend. This involves treating the entire body (including the abdomen, back and face) with 3-5 liposuctions. These comprehensive liposuctions allow us to create a harmonious overall picture and minimize the risk of recurrence. Should a recurrence nevertheless occur, it would tend to be even and not disproportionately in favor of the regions that have not yet been treated.
If there is a desire for regional treatment, this is also possible.

Example therapy plan
Here is an example of a classic treatment plan according to our procedure. Depending on the severity, interventions can be combined or must be divided into even more interventions. The following treatment plan is therefore purely exemplary and not personalized.
1. “Hip-leg-front” liposuction (VAPP+ purely PAL or WAL)
- Liposuction of the hips, front and outer sides on both sides
- Liposuction of the front, outer and inner thighs on both sides.
- Liposuction of the front, outside and inside of the knee on both sides.
- Liposuction of the front, outer and inner sides of the lower leg on both sides.
2. “Hip-leg-back” liposuction (VAPP+ purely PAL or WAL)
- Liposuction of the hips, back and outer sides bds.
- Liposuction of the backs, outsides and insides of the thighs on both sides.
- Liposuction of the back, outer and inner sides of the knee on both sides.
- Liposuction of the back, outer and inner sides of the lower leg on both sides.
- Liposuction of the lateral chest on both sides, flanks right, flanks left, presacral right, presacral left, presacral central
3. “Belly and flanks” liposuction (VAPP+ purely PAL or WAL)
- Liposuction on the abdominal wall
- Liposuction on the flanks of the abdominal wall on both sides.
4. “Shoulders and arms” liposuction (VAPP+ purely PAL or WAL)
- Liposuction of the shoulders on both sides.
- Liposuction of the arms on both sides (upper arms 4 regions, lower arms 2 regions)
Liposuction of the face, neck and throat in combination with a bichectomy is also possible.
Liposuctions 1-3 are mainly performed under general anesthesia. However, liposuction 4 can be performed under general or local anesthesia.

Tailored to your lipedema
Individual and well thought out
For sustainable treatment, our three-stage concept is based on individual diagnoses and initial situations.
First, we check for morbid obesity in need of treatment and, if necessary, refer you to specialists for customized nutritional advice or metabolic surgery.
If there is no morbid obesity, the second stage follows, which involves drawing up an individual treatment plan with the necessary liposuction.
The third pillar deals with skin treatment, where we draw on our experience to prevent, improve and treat sagging and integrate this into your individual therapy plan.
