Liposuction has proven itself over many years as an established method for the surgical removal of fatty tissue. This highly specialized surgical procedure is designed to provide relief for women with chronic fat distribution disorders. Our focus is on aesthetic procedures and liposuction for lipoedema.
Liposuction aims to gently remove excess fat cells in order to alleviate the associated discomfort and improve the aesthetic appearance. This procedure involves the targeted removal of fatty tissue in the affected areas, which reduces the volume. This can not only provide physical relief, but also significantly improve self-confidence and quality of life.

Our VAPP+ concept in detail
I have developed the new VAPP+ concept for better liposuction results based on more than 15 years of experience in the field of plastic surgery, particularly liposuction.
The concept is simple, comprehensible and reproducible.VAPP+ stands for VASER-ASSISTED POWER-LI-POSURECTION with PLASMA treatment. In other words, a combination of fat tissue preparation for liposuction, the liposuction itself and a follow-up treatment for skin tightening in the same session.
Steps during aP+ liposuction
VASER + POWER & PLASMA
1. Insertion of a special saline solution to prepare the fatty tissue (power-assisted)
2. VASER treatment, ultrasound-assisted release of fat tissue cells from the connective tissue complex
3. PAL liposuction, power or vibration-assisted liposuction of the tissue
4. EDELGAS-PLASMA-STRAPPING of the suctioned regions

In addition to classic standard liposuction, we offer you many other modern liposuction options. Although we are advocates of our VAPP+ concept, other forms of liposuction are still justified. During our consultation, we will recommend the most suitable procedure for you. When it comes to liposuction devices, we differentiate between devices that suction (liposuction itself) and others that support liposuction. Liposuction devices are PAL (power-assisted liposuction) and WAL (water-jet assisted liposuction). We regularly use the VASER (ultrasound technology) to prepare for liposuction.
PAL – Liposuction
Power-assisted liposuction is one of our standard methods that we use for liposuction. PAL stands for (Power-Assisted-Liposuction > Vibration Liposuction). With this method, as with any other liposuction, we also use a tumescent solution to prepare the fatty tissue. With the PAL method, the fatty tissue is then loosened from the tissue complex using a vibration procedure and suctioned out at the same time. The PAL method is particularly gentle and is our preferred method for most liposuctions.
WAL – Liposuction
Water-jet assisted liposuction is another standard method that we use for liposuction. The fat cells are gently removed from the tissue complex using a continuous water jet. WAL liposuction used to be the gold standard for us, but the technique has now been largely replaced by the PAL method, although it is still used regularly for certain indications or on special request.
VASER
The VASER (Vibration Amplification of Sound Energy at Resonance) is a device that uses ultrasound to prepare the fatty tissue for the actual liposuction. The VASER can be used on any patient, including (and especially) those with lipoedema. The VASER is particularly suitable for regions that are difficult to liposuction due to fibrosis. These include the entire back region, the front of the thighs, the back of the lower legs, the outer sides of the upper arms and the upper abdomen. The VASER is also ideal for corrective liposuction and is a real game changer.
